Photo and Poem--Haiku

I have decided to blog some of my poetry. Poetry was my first art--writing my first poem in the first grade. Poetry is also my favorite form of expression. I just love it! If I could jump into a poem, and just live inside it for a while, I would! On this blog, since it is about my photo journey, I am going to write poems inspired by a photo that I have taken. It is going to be in the moment, off the top of my head, just for the fun of it! I am also starting a poetry blog which will include photos; however, on that blog, the poem will come first and then I will find a photo that I think goes with the poem. Anyway, I will post when that blog launches. Today, I am writing a Haiku. Hope you enjoy!

  1. Nice Haiku! Nice reflection too.

  2. A very elegant and poignant haiku.

  3. I am so envious of people whose minds can think inside of a poem! My aunt has the knack and suddenly in the middle of the night will get up to reach for paper and pen to write down a poem that just "pops" into her head. Wow, I wish I could do that. I used to love poetry, I wonder what happened along the way to make me forget about that love. Believe it or not, I was a big fan of Ogden Nash's silly and some times off-key poems. They used to make me laugh. I will look forward to hearing more poems from you. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you Lena, Debby

  4. Lena...I just wanted to thank you for following my photo blog and wanted to comment that I like your approach to photography...very well thought out. Have a great Thanksgiving.
